Field Guide 2025 (FG25) Self-Study and Virtual Examination Announcement
TADAT Secretariat wishes to announce that FG19 online training has been discontinued as of January 27, 2026, following the release of FG25.
While the new online training platform based on the FG25 is being developed, candidates are encouraged to self-study FG25 (available under Resource & Downloads) and register for a virtual group examination using the registration form to obtain TADAT Trained certificate.
Two exam sessions are now available:
1st Exam Cycle
- Registration deadline: August 7, 2026
- Exam date: August 14, 2026
- Morning session: 8:00 – 9:30 AM (EST)
- Afternoon session: 5:00 – 6:30 PM (EST)
2nd Exam Cycle
- Registration deadline: September 3, 2026
- Exam date: September 10, 2026
- Morning session: 8:00 – 9:30 AM (EST)
- Afternoon session: 5:00 – 6:30 PM (EST)
Registration closes one week prior to the exam date. Exams are currently offered in English and French only. During the exam session, both English and French exam links will be provided for the participant to choose either language.
The TADAT Secretariat will contact registered candidates one week before the exam to confirm participation, timeslot, and further instructions.

FG25 Pilot Online Course (Planned for Mid-August 2026 – Date TBD)
The TADAT Secretariat is also seeking participants for a pilot FG25 online course, planned for launch in mid-August 2026 (date to be confirmed).
The pilot course will provide an opportunity to experience the new online learning platform before its official launch and to provide feedback on the learning experience. Participant feedback will help the TADAT Secretariat refine the course prior to its public release.
Please note that the pilot course will be offered in English only. Participants registered for the pilot will be expected to complete all course modules within six weeks of the course launch date.
Those interested in participating in the pilot course must complete a separate Pilot Course Registration Form by August 7, 2026. Additional information regarding the course schedule and requirements will be shared once the launch date is confirmed.
