TADAT Coffee Chat releases a special series of 2 sessions titled "Sharing Your Experience with TADAT Assessments: How TADAT Assessments Enhance Tax Administration Systems.

These sessions are designed to discuss the impacts of TADAT and share firsthand experiences from countries that have undergone TADAT Assessments.

TADAT High-Level Regional Workshops

This high-level regional workshops offer a platform for interaction among senior officials from tax administrations and regional tax organizations. The workshops aims to enhance awareness of the TADAT tool's significance in crafting or augmenting strategic and reform plans within the region. The workshops facilitate the exchange of insights and experiences derived from TADAT assessments within the region and also collect feedback for updating the TADAT Field Guide.

MORE ABOUT TADAT

The Tax administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT) is designed to provide an objective assessment of the health of key components of a country’s system of tax administration.

The Field Guide (FG) is structured around the nine POAs comprising the TADAT framework. The FG provides assessors with a structured methodology to undertake an objective performance assessment of a country’s tax administration system.

TADAT consists of nine Performance Outcome Areas (POAs) that cover most tax administration functions, processes and institutions.

The TADAT Secretariat in cooperation with IMF’s Institute for Capacity Development and edX, a non- profit online learning initiative by MIT and Harvard, created an online training course that will help experienced tax administrators become trained TADAT assessors.

TADAT assessments look into nine performance outcome areas with 32 high-level indicatorst that are each built on 1 to 5 dimensions that together add up to 55 measurement dimensions, making TADAT a comprehensive but administrable diagnostic tool.

TADAT is a collaborative effort of 10 partners, including European Union, the Government of France, the Government of Japan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the IMF and the World Bank Group.
