Steering Committee

The Steering Committee (SC) comprises representatives of the Contributors to the TADAT sub-account, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank (the TADAT Partners). The SC members elect a chair amongst themselves by consensus. The term of the chair is one year. The chair determines the agenda for SC meetings, with advice from the Secretariat.

The responsibilities of the SC are to:

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight of the ongoing development of the TADAT program;
• Set the objectives, targets, and scope of activities of the TADAT program;
• Mobilize the resources needed to implement the TADAT program;
• Determine the operational strategies and procedures for the program activities;
• Decide the annual work program and budgets of the TADAT Secretariat;
• Determine appropriate communication/outreach strategies with external stakeholders; and
• Set terms of reference for the SC and the Technical Advisory Group.
